A Haverfordwest Registry Office Wedding. Holly & Mike

Holly and Mike had been together 18 years, they think! An the wanted to go for a Haverfordwest Registry Office Wedding. Three boys, a life already fully built, a relationship that didn’t need a big day to prove anything to anyone.

They just wanted to make it official. It started with a small ceremony at Haverfordwest Register Office and then back to Newport, Pembs to a secret beach and forest walk.

Haverfordwest Registry Office Wedding.

I have been photographing weddings in Pembrokeshire for 4 years now, and this is my first time at the Haverfordwest Register Office, and we all know it’s not the most aesthetic place but we are in Pembrokeshire, so a short drive from here and you’re somewhere beautiful.

I first photographed Holly and Mike back in 2021, and I’ve watched their family at countless weddings since. I know their kids. I’ve seen them grow. So when Holly got in touch asking if I’d photograph their wedding day, it didn’t feel like a booking.

After the ceremony, we headed to a secret beach near Newport, Pembrokeshire. Just the five of them. The kids running ahead into the woods, nobody was looking at the camera because nobody was thinking about it. No schedule, no timeline, no list of shots to get through.

Just a family, finally married, on one of the most beautiful bits of coast in Wales.

These are the days I love most.

If you’re planning a Haverfordwest registry office wedding, or an intimate ceremony anywhere across Wales, and you want photos that feel like your day actually did, I have a Registry Office package just for days like this.
