One of the best things about Gellifawr is that we don’t need to disappear for ages to make beautiful portraits.
There are woodland paths, gardens, ponds and open countryside all around us. And if you fancy a little adventure, we have the hills and Pembrokeshire coast just a short drive away.
After photographing more than 40 weddings here, I know what works, when it works and, importantly, when it’s better to stay exactly where you are and enjoy the party.
A Relaxed Wedding Day Experience at Gellifawr
I’m not there to turn your wedding into a photoshoot. I’ll step in when you need me, give you direction when it helps and use everything I know about Gellifawr to make the most of the place.
The timings, the weather, the light, the seasons. I’ve photographed weddings here from January right through to December, so I know how much this place changes throughout the year.
The rest of the time, you get on with having your wedding and I photograph what it actually felt like.
I had high expectations for Christina when I booked her and she still exceeded them!
She was great from the first email when she replied to my initial enquiry and couldn't have wished for a better photographer on the day. Neither me or my husband are comfortable in front of a camera but Christina was great at directing the posed photos and making us feel more relaxed....

What I love most about photographing weddings at Gellifawr is that it doesn't need much from us. The venue has so much character that we don't have to force anything. My job is simply to notice the moments, use the beautiful light and landscape, and create photographs that feel like your wedding rather than a photoshoot. You'll spend your day celebrating with the people you love, and I'll make sure that's what you remember.
