I am in love with my new sessions i’ve named – Home Time – and this is my take on family photography Pembrokeshire. It’s relaxed, creative and centred around connection not perfection.

I have named this session Home Time and not family photography Pembrokeshire because home is where so much of family life happens, it’s where eveyone feel safe and relaxed, it’s where we express our emotions and we are surrounded by our things. I love bringing that into the photographs. The bedrooms, kitchens and gardens, favourite toys and books, pets wandering through the frame and all the little details that surround your children as they grow up. Its also where kids feel safe, and free to be who the hell they want.
During your session we might, play in the garden, read books, jump on the bed, cuddle on the sofa or head out for a walk. Every Home Time session is different because it’s built around your family and the things you enjoy doing together. My favoirte sessions are when familes are simply doing a chilled sunday, having dinner or going for a walk.
Home Time sessions are for family photography Pembrokeshire, but I will be opening up to South Wales and Ceredigion very soon. They last around two hours, which gives us plenty of time to settle in, play and create something together.
I’ll photograph what naturally happens, but I’ll also gently direct and create photographs along the way. I might find some beautiful light, bring everyone together, suggest something to do or give you a little direction when you need it.
The finished gallery is a mixture of real moments and creative family portraits that feel natural, connected and full of life.

Children change ridiculously quickly. Their favourite things change, their bedrooms change, the way they play changes and somehow even the way they hold your hand changes.
Home Time is about preserving a little piece of that.
I want to create photographs that show what your children looked like, but also remind you of who they were. Their curiosity, their energy, their relationship with you and all the little things that made this particular chapter of family life yours.

Home Time works beautifully for newborns and babies because everything happens in your own space. We can work around feeds, cuddles, naps and whatever your baby needs. In fact I love capturing all these moments.
I would have loved photographs like this when my son was born eight years ago. That sleepy whirlwind of the newborn stage goes so quickly, even if it doesn’t feel like it at the time. I’d love to have photographs now of what those early days actually felt like.
Your home becomes part of those memories too, from the nursery you spent months getting ready to the sofa where you suddenly spend half your life feeding.

Home Time can move beyond your front door. We can spend some time in your garden, wander through the woods down the road, and walk the dog.
Living in Pembrokeshire means we have some incredible places around us, but I’m most interested in the places that are actually part of your family life. It’s about creating photographs that feel connected to your family, your home and this particular moment in your lives.
Home Time sessions are two hours and take place at your home. You’ll receive a gallery of 30 carefully edited high resolution photographs that tell the story of your family right now.
I photograph families across Pembrokeshire and West Wales, including St Davids, Solva, Haverfordwest, Narberth, Newport and Tenby. Honest, creative family photography that feels nostalgic, lived in and full of feeling.
