Pembrokeshire has become a popular wedding destination for couples due to its epic coastline, sleepy vibes, and beautiful woodlands. Pembrokeshire is an amazing place to get married, I may be biased as it's my home, and my family have lived and farmed here for several generations, so I know the area intimately from St Davids, to Tenby to Newport. I have a deep connection to the place, and it shapes how I photograph, with an understanding of light, tide, and geology and delightful seasons.
I grew up in Pembrokeshire, spent time living and traveling elsewhere, and then chose to come back. Seeing it again with fresh eyes has made me appreciate just how much variety there is here. I love our wild coast, hills, woodland and open countryside, all constantly changing with the light and seasons.
The coast is where I feel most at home. It is calm and wild, and I love it just as much in grey winter as I do in blue summer.
Local knowledge really matters in Pembrokeshire. Knowing how the landscape and weather behave, where the light works best, and when to lean into the elements can make all the difference and most importantly I also know where to get the best coffee.
And if you are here, it is probably because you feel the same way. You are choosing Pembrokeshire for the landscape and the feeling it gives you. If that is the case, I would love to be your Pembrokeshire wedding photographer and guide.
When it comes to your wedding photography, I keep things relaxed and let you be yourselves. We plan the overall feel of the day beforehand, so on the day of the wedding, all you need to do is enjoy it and celebrate. I will gently guide you when needed and make sure you get the images that matter to you, without you having to think about it.
You do not need to spend your wedding day posing for photos. I am not into that either because the best wedding photographs are fun, natural, and in the moment, created while you and all your people are fully present and comfortable.
You can relax knowing your wedding photography is in safe hands. With many years photographing weddings across Pembrokeshire and West Wales, I am comfortable working in all conditions, adapting to changing light, weather and pace so your day flows naturally.
My Master’s degree in documentary photography shapes how I work, focusing on real moments as they unfold rather than staged images. Alongside over fifteen years of studio photography experience, it means I know when to quietly observe and when to gently step in, helping people feel comfortable without interrupting the day.
The result is honest, natural photographs that reflect how your wedding actually felt, while you stay present and enjoy it.
